Right of Withdrawal

Who this notice applies to

The right of withdrawal set out below is a statutory consumer right. It belongs to you as a consumer, wherever you live and wherever we deliver. Mandatory consumer protection provisions of the country in which you have your habitual residence remain unaffected.

A consumer is any individual who is acting wholly or mainly outside their trade, business, craft or profession. This notice is addressed to consumers only and does not apply to orders placed in the course of a trade, business, craft or profession.

Separately from that statutory right, what we offer on top of it and who bears the cost of the return depend on the country we deliver to. For deliveries within Germany we bear that cost; for deliveries to any other country you bear it, unless the law of the country in which you have your habitual residence mandatorily provides otherwise. Your rights where goods are faulty, damaged in transit or not as described apply wherever your order was sent and are set out in the section "Faulty, damaged or misdescribed goods".

Right of withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period will expire after 14 days from the day on which you acquire, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you acquires, physical possession of the last good.

of your decision to withdraw from this contract by an unequivocal statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or email). You may use the attached model withdrawal form, but it is not obligatory.

You can also exercise your right of withdrawal online at puzzlepotato.com/withdrawal. If you use this online feature, we will send you an acknowledgement of receipt of the withdrawal on a durable medium (e.g. by email), including its content and the date and time of its submission, without undue delay.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

Effects of withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (with the exception of the supplementary costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract. We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.

We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.

You shall send back the goods or hand them over to us, without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your withdrawal from this contract to us. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of 14 days has expired.

For deliveries within Germany, we will bear the cost of returning the goods. For deliveries to any other country, you will have to bear the direct cost of returning the goods.

You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.

Voluntary 30-day return guarantee

In addition to the statutory right of withdrawal, where we deliver your order to a country in the European Union, the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we offer you as a consumer a voluntary right of return: you may send the goods back to us within 30 days of receipt without giving any reason. Please tell us before you send them; the contact details are in the section "Right of withdrawal".

The goods must be complete and undamaged and show no signs of use beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning. The cost of the return follows the same rule as for withdrawal: for deliveries within Germany we bear it; for deliveries to the other countries named above you bear it.

We refund the purchase price, including the cost of the least expensive standard delivery, no later than 14 days after the goods reach us, using the means of payment you used for the original transaction.

This return guarantee is a voluntary service and does not limit your statutory right of withdrawal. Within the statutory withdrawal period you may choose whether to withdraw from the contract or to use this return guarantee. For deliveries to other countries, the following section applies.

Deliveries outside the European Union, the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom

Where we deliver your order to a country outside the European Union, the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom, the voluntary 30-day return guarantee does not apply. Your statutory right of withdrawal is unaffected: you may withdraw from the contract within 14 days, and you bear the cost of the return unless the law of the country in which you have your habitual residence mandatorily provides otherwise.

Your rights where goods are faulty, damaged in transit or not as described are also unaffected; those rights apply wherever your order was sent and are set out in the section "Faulty, damaged or misdescribed goods".

Faulty, damaged or misdescribed goods

If goods arrive faulty, damaged in transit or not as described, your legal rights in respect of those goods apply wherever your order was sent. Nothing set out above limits those rights, or any other mandatory consumer right that applies to your purchase.

Please contact us using the contact details in the section "Right of withdrawal" above, quoting your order number. A photograph of the problem helps us deal with it quickly, but it is not a condition of anything. You can choose between repair, for example with a replacement part, and replacement, at no cost to you. If you choose repair, the original limitation period for claims based on a defect is extended once by twelve months.
